Primer: Pattern Field Theory™
Why a New Framework
General Relativity describes curvature of spacetime. Quantum Field Theory describes interactions in fields. The Big Bang model describes a hot, dense early phase and subsequent expansion. These are valuable, but they share three limits:
- They begin from something. A singularity, a vacuum, an inflaton field, or a brane. None begin from nothing.
- They leave pre-expansion undefined. The interval before expansion is marked as unknown.
- They require periodic retrofits. “We got it wrong” corrections and add-ons (dark components, inflation, multiverses) patch gaps rather than resolve origin.
Pattern Field Theory (PFT) starts at the true origin and proceeds stepwise, so the model is not “hanging in space.”
Something from Nothing
NULL
NULL — a completely blank logical field. No attributes, no dimensions, no substance. If anything is to exist at all, it has to start here. From this blankness, the question is: what is the least we must assume so that anything can happen next?
Minimum Logical Powers
- Potential — capacity for structure.
- Possibility — openness of outcomes.
- Probability — weighting of outcomes.
These three are necessary for change to be possible; they do not yet make change happen.
Mechanism of Emergence
Tension
Tension is the disagreement among Potential, Possibility, and Probability. While they disagree, the field stays uncommitted and runs short-lived trials (virtual differentiats). Everything is available; nothing is chosen. Tension ends once full agreement is reached (see Permission).
The Equilibrion
The Equilibrion is the balanced field under tension. The system generates continuous short-lived trials to probe for a stable outcome. Tension drives trials in the Equilibrion.
Virtual Differentiats
A virtual differentiat is a brief arrangement of Potential, Possibility, and Probability that forms and then collapses back to balance. Most fail; one meets the agreement condition. Trials begin under tension and stop at permission.
Permission
Permission is the agreement of Potential, Possibility, and Probability. When agreement arrives, the trial cycle stops and construction begins. Curvature stabilizes as a circle, π acts as the instruction set (boot program), and the first stable unit — the Pi-particle — appears.
Summary
Tension → trials (Equilibrion, virtual differentiats). Permission → construction (curvature → π → Pi-particle).
Between Dominions
Dominions are established regimes where a pattern holds. The Equilibrion is most visible at their boundaries — interfaces, gaps, and transitions where no single regime controls the outcome.
These zones show high sensitivity to small inputs and fast switching. New structure often begins here.
Fractal Character
The Equilibrion is scale-invariant. The balance–trial–selection cycle recurs at multiple scales. Only scale and constraints change; the mechanism does not. This is why emergence logic applies from first structure to later systems.
Curvature and π
The first stable geometry is a closed loop — a circle. Its invariant ratio is π. In this framework, π functions as an instruction set: once curvature exists, π encodes how structure proceeds. Curvature + program = the first stable unit.
The Pi-Particle
The Pi-particle is the first stable unit of recursive resonance — geometry in motion, not mass. It is the seed from which dimensional projection begins. With it, the differentiation process becomes a pattern, not an exception.
The Differentiat
The sequence — tension → Equilibrion → virtual differentiats → permission → curvature (π) → Pi-particle — is the Differentiat. It is the general model of emergence and recurs throughout the universe’s unfolding.
The Breach (Big Bang Reinterpreted)
The Breach is the transition from 2-D recursive resonance to stable 3-D structure. Expansion, background radiation, and early nucleosynthesis remain; the initiating mechanism is a dimensional breach, not a singularity explosion.
From π to the Allen Orbital Lattice
The Allen Orbital Lattice (AOL) emerges as a hexagonal projection from π and prime distributions. It produces widening ring/spoke geometries that match shapes in standard cosmological illustrations — except here, the structure is computed, not metaphorical.
Why Space Is 2-D in PFT
In PFT, away from significant gravitational gradients, space behaves effectively as 2-D for light propagation. Streams remain flattened in 2-D phase-transport mode.
Near gravitational gradients, gravity restores 3-D alignment. This yields photon events. Leaving those gradients, the field re-flattens to 2-D propagation.
Light and Electricity
Light
Light propagates as 2-D recursive resonance along Pi-particle streams. Gravity governs flattening: if χ₃ᴰ ≥ Θ
, 3-D restoration occurs and photon events are abundant; otherwise, it remains flattened (2-D).
Electricity
Electricity is the field’s charge-transport mode. It balances charge and assembles patterns from local chemistry to cosmic plasma filaments.
Replicability and Priority
The claims are backed by derivations you can run yourself: the Pi hack, the hexagram structure, and the Allen Orbital Lattice. Outputs are computable, repeatable, and open to inspection.
Claim: PFT is a logical construction from NULL origins that yields reproducible structures. It is new, but not arbitrary.
Challenge
Show a model that begins from true nothing (NULL) and builds the universe stepwise without unmotivated “something.” Until such a model exists, PFT remains the only framework addressing the origin problem from first principles while producing practical outputs.
